      Dear Rich:

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this year. I am travelling to Pittsburgh for a family wedding 2 weeks after the St. Philip event. Because I am, like many Americans, unemployed, I had to make a choice as to what to spend my money on/when to travel. I am going to the wedding. :)

So I wish well to all who attend and thanks to you for again spearheading this. I have given St Philip materials to my own parish (St. Margaret Mary in Milwaukee) in the hope that they try this approach to get people interested in our school and help raise funds.

By the way, if you hear of anyone needing a specialist in Process Improvement and Lean, particularly in health care, please forward their name and contact information and I will be sure to get in touch! In the meantime, please pray for all people who are in unfortunate work situations.

      Thanks much!

      Mary Lou (Sikora) Schroeder

Come as we honor the 2009 Distinguished Graduate:

      Anne Louise Tanney Dailey, 1957
Anne Louise had an outstanding career earning a Doctorate and teaching at the college level for more than 30 years. She is a long-time stellar volunteer to the parish and school. Anne Louise quietly volunteers in a myriad of ways -- she co-chairs the parish Grief Support Group, is a valuable member of the school's "Operation Connect", has provided expertise with Middle States evaluations, and has simply worked week-after-week for years stuffing bulletins for the parish and assisting the Sisters. Anne Louise is also a long-time counselor and volunteer with Birthright.

All Parishioners, school alumni and friends are welcome - Cost is $20.00 per person:
      Mass at 4:00 p.m.
Catered buffet dinner at 6:00 p.m. in Fr. Kelty Hall
Former teachers will be returning to share memories
"Remember When" slide show with many photographs

To make a reservation for the Alumni Event, please contact the school (52 W. Crafton Ave. Pittsburgh PA 15205) by April 13.

      Hope to see you there!
