WOMEN ONLY IN FULL COMMUNION WITH ROME, TOTALLY LOYAL TO THE MAGISTERIUM OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY FATHER IN PRINICIPLE AND IN PRACTICE. We often discuss our problems in light of our Catholic faith and have agreed never to question the teachings of the Church on this list. This list is dedicated to St. Dymphna. In the Catholic Church she is the patroness of those afflicted with nervous disorders and mental illness, as well as against sleepwalking, epilepsy, epileptics, family happiness, incest victims, insanity, loss of parents, martyrs, mental asylums, mental hospitals, mental illness, mentally ill people, neurological disorders, possessed people, princesses, rape victims, runaways, sleepwalkers. Catholic women with Anxiety, Bipolar, Borderline Personality, Depression, Dissociative, Post Traumatic Stress, or other nervous and mental disorders diagnosed or not, along with women in a RCIA formation program or contemplating conversion to the Catholic faith are welcome. The purpose of this list is to be a spiritual and emotional comfort to those of us who persevere with these disorders. Traditional catholic spirituality and devotions to other saints are encouraged. This list is not to replace therapy or appropriate necessary treatment in a time of crisis. However, topics such as medication, therapy and whatever else members find helpful can be discussed. There are no archives for this list. May the peace of Christ be with you. St. Dymphna, virgin and martyr, pray for us.
