      150 Street

      You walked,
      You ran,
      Up and down-
      Many a seasons.
      You met people
      Who mocked You,
      Or cheered You.

      Some You helped,
      Some You ignored,
      Children You smiled at.
      Again others cursed You,
      You blessed them,
      Blessed them all;
      Young and old,
      Slim and fat,
      Tall and small,
      Hooked and crooked.

      I walked,
      I ran,
      Up and down-
      Only for a few days.
      Uphill I found
      Two Gingko fruits,
      Downhill only
      Plastic stars.
      But it is
      What it ever was:
      150 Street,
      A moment's blue,
      A moment's joy.
