"Invictus" movie..Nelson Mandela
- Dear friends,
Lately I have been inspired by Nelson Mandela....Clint Eastwood directed in 2009 a wonderful movie about Nelson Mandela, titled "Invictus".
The movie chronicles Mandela's efforts to unite South Africa by supporting South Africa's rugby team, the Sprinbok.
Here is a wonderful documentary about Mandela about Mandela's efforts:
For me, Mandela is one of the greatest human beings we will see in our lifetime. To spend 27 years in jail, and to come out preaching forgiveness and reconciliation, makes him a shining star in humanity's heart-sky.
I recommend the movie "Invictus". Very uplifting.
- Hi Kamalakanta and everyone,
Movie that you recommend is extremely uplifting and have a spiritual and an educational aspect, too. Wisdom, real divine love, focus, will power, highest goal that Mandela have had in his life, his personal sacrifice for the nation...
When Guru was in South Africa on The Christmas Trip in 1996 he visited places and Mandela's jail-cell, where he spent 27 years of exile from normal life. He met Mandela and his wife and lifted up the president and spent very, very friendly time with him, as they know each other for ages. It is seen on the video how Mandela is holding Guru's hand after he has been lifted up and they are walking together like two kid-friends - hand in hand. It is so beautiful how Mandela showed his appreciation to Guru and his work for humanity.
All the best to all,
