      Hi Everyone,

Here are some recent additions to the Sri Chinmoy Reflections website that I'm sure you will enjoy:

Chinmoy Returns to India after Five Years

Vidagdha has put together another rare collection of photographs from Guru's first visit back to India in March 1969. After 5 long years in the West, Guru finally met up again with his brothers and sisters at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry. Though a novice photographer, he took a number of photos of his family members, various Ashramites and friends during his visit. He is also included in several photographs.

History of Sri Chinmoy's Musical Manifestation from 1943-1975

Shambhu's immortal book, 'Sri Chinmoy: The Silence-Sound', has been out of print for many decades, hence many people would never have had the chance to read it. Luckily, Sri Chinmoy Reflections is able to publish selected chapters.

The latest chapter to be published online explores, in historic detail, the evolution of Guru's music from 1943 to 1975. It offers a fascinating insight into the way Guru composed and taught his songs during those early years.

The Religion of Humanity Practiced at the Sri Chinmoy Centre

This exceptionally beautiful article was written by Mr. Momtazuddin Ahmed, Minister (Cultural), Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations.

In February this year he visited Annam Brahma for a special function held in his honour. Here he recounts his personal impressions with the poetic touch of a true Bengali. The original article was published in Ajkal, a Bengali news-weekly from New York. The superb English translation is provided by Mahatapa.

We'd be delighted to receive any feedback about the photographs or any of the articles on the site. Also, any suggestions to improve the site are always welcome.

      Happy viewing and reading,
