24051Do not disown me
- Oct 2 6:21 AMDear friends,
Here is a poignant prayer-poem by Sri Chinmoy.
Often a seeker may feel that his/her standard is not high enough or good enough to please God; that he/she does not have enough aspiration, gratitude and surrender to God's Will.
In this prayer-poem, Sri Chinmoy captures this feeling in the seeker's heart, where the seeker pleads to God to belong only to Him.
"O my Lord Supreme,
Do anything you want
With my poor life, my ungrateful life,
But do not disown me."
Excerpt from Seventy-Seven Thousand Service-Trees, Part 15 by Sri Chinmoy.
Joy to all!
