      Jerry Davidson’s sister, Linda Howard, passed away on Tuesday.  (Jerry is the square dance caller for the Belles and Beaus club.)  The obituary is below.

       Linda Arlene Howard

      October 3, 1947  -  May 27, 2014

       

      Linda Arlene Howard, 66, of Wabash, Indiana, died at approximately 6:00 am, May 27, 2014, the result of a vehicle accident in Somerset. She was born October 3, 1947 in Wabash, to Isaac and Ethel (Inyart) Davidson.

       

      Linda married Steve Howard in Wabash on December 23, 2000. She had worked at Heckman Bindery in North Manchester, Datavue in Wabash, and retired from Dexter Axle in North Manchester. She was a member of the Church of Christ Eastwood in Wabash. She loved children, gardening, traveling, and Longaberger baskets.

       

      She is survived by her husband, Steve Howard of Wabash; daughter, Angela (Brian) Murray Miller of Greer, South Carolina, sisters, Viola (Rex) Mowery of Wabash, Rose Mary (Jerry) Kendall of Treaty, Indiana, Carolyn (Cliff) Mowery of Marion, Indiana, and Rowena (Claren) Goad of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her brothers, Gerald Davidson of North Manchester, Nolan Davidson of Lagro, Indiana, Wendell (Charlotte) Davidson of Wabash, Leonard (Penny) Davidson of Lagro, Randy (Della) Davidson of Wabash, and Allan Davidson of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Melody Davidson, Darlene Davidson, Margaret Wilson, and Velma Crull.

       

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8:00 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.

       

      Preferred memorial is National Kidney Foundation.
