      The problem is that those sliders are 'TScrollBars' (in Borland's visual
      component library) which don't allow text on / in them. So the only
      solution would be placing the text (number) on the side of the scroller
      as an extra field, reducing the usable slider width, making them very
      difficult to use especially when the area on the left side of the main
      window shall not occupy too much screen space.
