This is the shop where I work (for those of you who know me well enough to ask this question, yes, I’m a doctor, working, for the moment, in a yarn store...). It’s in Aurora, but well worth the hike. We’ve got a FANTASTIC deal on Malabrigo angora coming up, and a unique opportunity to workshop with Lisa Kartus. Plus, we just rock. Come out and see us!!!

Have you heard the Yarn Harlot talk about this great new book Knit Fix. We still have some space in author Lisa Kartus' Correcting Mistakes workshops. Call us to sign up! Lisa will also be available after the workshops at 2:15 to sign books. Stop by and pick up your copy and have her sign it. This is the perfect fixing mistakes book. The photos and instructions are clear and easy to understand. This will become an instant knitting reference favorite (also a great gift idea for your knitting friends - just think what a hero you will be - a signed copy of Knit Fix - COOL). The book will be on sale 10% off October 21.
Correcting Mistakes 101: Do you need a Knit Fix? Then don’t miss this special class with Lisa Kartus, author of Knit Fix: Problem Solving for Knitters. Learn how to correct the most common knitting mistakes, including yarnovers, accidental increases, how to unknit, how to pick up dropped stitches using a crochet hook, and how to unravel the right way. Class Fee $30.00, homework and book required
Correcting Mistakes 201: Do you need a more advanced Knit Fix? In this class, Lisa will cover not only picking up dropped stitches vertically but how to change stitches rows later. If you've ever missed a cable cross or crossed a cable in the wrong direction (and what's the difference between left cross and right cross, anyway?) and hate unraveling, this class is for you. For those trying lace knitting, there will be information on recovering a missed yarnover. Students should bring in the charts for WIP and we'll deconstruct them as a group. Class Fee $30.00, Homework and book required
We received an accidental duplicate shipment from Malabrigo this week and before we send it back to Uraguay we wanted to offer something very special to you at a very special price. Inside of this box was one of the most beautiful yarns available on the market - handspun, hand dyed angora. This yarn is unbelievable. You just have to see it (and feel it). We don't have every color that is pictured here but what we do have is to die for. We are offering it at 15% off next Saturday and Sunday (October 21 & 22).
Lisa Katus' book Knit Fix will be on sale 10% off on October 21. Lisa will be on hand to sign it at 2:15, right after her workshops.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
