It was the dawn of the fourth age of this list...
Babcom.com was our last, best hope for a Southern Ontario Babylon-5 based community...
On December 12, 2000, it failed. The server went down for some "minor maintenance", and never came back up again.
With babcom.com out of commission, the community that was once southontario-b5@babcom.com has now been forced to find itself a new home...
SouthOntario-B5@yahoogroups.com is a that home... A Babylon 5 Mailing list for Toronto and areas of Southern Ontario.
This list is a GENERAL list - it is open for discussion, information and general ramblings on any Babylon 5 topics, events or opinions.
However, it is also the new home of an established community, and as such we recognize that topics of discussion may stray from Babylon 5. The members of this list have met at parties, conventions, and other places - it's inevitable that sometimes we'll have topics of conversation that stray from the primary purpose of this list...
