Are the rulebooks reasonably clear and complete? I'm a pretty formal
kind of wargamer; not a "rules lawyer" exactly, but I do like
everything to be there in black and white so I don't have to make
things up as I go along. I hate rulebooks with gaps, ambiguities, and
errors. (And I'm also irritated by the very informal writing style of
some of the THW designers in that Yahoo! group.)
I'm less concerned with the game "flow[ing] really fast" than with it
being a good, solidly immersive wargaming experience.
- -Hi Patrick,
I ran across this message. I live just a little north of St. Paul. I
know a couple of other guys, one in Shoreview and the other in
Bloomington who collect figures. I put together another Yahoo site for
Minnesotans who collect 48mm to 60mm plastic figures. If you want to
take a look go to:
We have a couple of outstaters in the bunch as well.
