seemed to have averted suicide by assigning a meaning to
existence. Would it have been better if he commited suicide?
Or Hitler?

I don't know if there is such a
thing as a "destructive" personality. Human history,
now and always has been filled with destruction. And
suppose one finds one's meaning in life through
destruction? As Nietzsche did. If one seeks meaning one may
only find falsehood in the existing values and hence
may be lead to "destroy" as one's
meaning.
Explosiveness and destruction may be essential to man's nature.
