      Certification Saturday

       

      When: Saturday September 8, 2007

      Where: Bert Adams Scout Reservation 9:00 � 4:00

           

      Cost: $10.00 per person for Archery/BB

            $15.00 per person for CPR

            ** Participants must be at Least 21 Years old.

       

      Come be trained to operate Council and/or District archery or BB ranges (be aware that �archery and BB gun shooting are not to be done at the pack level� �Shooting Sports for Cub Scouting).  Choose between Archery and Air Rifles or CPR (CPR is from 9 am � 2 pm).  Registration must be made by September 1, 2006 and no exceptions or walk-ins.  Bring a sack lunch and your lawn chair, as lunch will be from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.

      OA-Trailblazer Adventure Camp - Saturday, October 6, 2007.

       

      Scouts and their families can join the fun at the OA Trailblazer Adventure Camp on October 6 at the Bert Adams Scout Reservation. The Adventure Camp Program is an outdoor education program to get Scouts and their families involved in outdoor sports and activities.  Cubs can take part in archery, BB�s, outdoor games, nature activities, fishing, and many more fun and exciting activities. Boy Scouts can take part in archery, trap shooting, rifle shooting, orienteering, fishing, and more. Camping: Camping space is limited, first-reserved through Program Center gets priority.  Cost: Cost is $6.00 per person, which includes all program items and a patch. 

       

      Note: You (or your Unit) must provide your own lunch on Saturday. A short break in the program will take place at Noon; a �brown bag� lunch would work best.

The Atlanta Area Council will reimburse you $50.00 for each AAC Wilderness First Aid Class which you serve on as in Instructor up     to $150.00. You will need to bring your lunch both days as there       will be limited opportunities to go out for lunch.
