New County Records for New Mexico

      On June 19th James Stuart, NMDG&F, had photographed the Arroyo Darner in Otero Canyon east of Albuquerque in the Sandia Mountains.  A new county record

      On June 19th James Stuart, NMDG&F, had photographed the Arroyo Darner in Otero Canyon east of Albuquerque in the Sandia Mountains.  A new county record for Bernalillo County.   

       
      On June 24th Biologists Lee Pierce and James Stuart, NMDG&F, working in Rio Arriba County on their Boreal Frog reintroduction program high up in the mountains at Trout Lake had taken some good photographs of the Boreal Whiteface (Lee's new state record last year at Trout Lake). Stuart had also photographed several tandem pairs of Taiga Bluets which is a new county reocrds for Rio Arriba County.  
       
      On June 22nd Jim Stuart has also photographed several new county records for Sandoval County from Cochiti Lake including Red Saddlebags, Eight-spotted Skimmers, Widow Skimmers, and Eastern Amberwings. 
       
      On June 16th Jerry Hatifeld had photographed the Eastern Ringtail on the Pecos River at Fort Sumner in DeBaca County also a new reocrd.  And, Dustin Huntington reported the Four-spotted Skimmer in Otero Canyon on June 26th, new for Bernalillo County.
