My wife and I spent this past weekend at Muleshoe Ranch (Cochise Co., 10/19) and then in the Safford area (Graham Co., 10/20).

We found a total of 42 species – not a bad number for the second half of October. These included 13 dancer (Argia) species, among which an andromorph (blue) female Pima Dancer, Argia pima, a form that had apparently not been observed until now. At the Muleshoe Ranch, Mayan Setwing, Dythemis maya, provided a new late flying date for this species in Arizona.
