There was an "officer needs help" call about that time on White Oak
s/of Rinaldi, by units on multiple 9-1-1 calls variously reporting a
415, attempt 211-GTA, and a person w/poss mental illness running in
and out of traffic. Right after he was taken into custody they
requested an ambulance, for which an RA, an engine and shortly
thereafter an EMS Captain were dispatched. It was a little more than
a routine emergency, as White Oak was closed for about 20 minutes, a
camera was requested, and a third Sergeant. Two Sgts who responded to
the initial calls were apparently involved in the take-down and it
sounded like they needed the third one to initiate the investigation
of their part in it.
858.4375 is a good frequency to monitor for fire and EMS calls in the Valley.
