Re: [SoCalFire] Northridge accident info?
- Jason,At 9:22 PM, the LAFD dispatch center received the first of several 9-1-1 calls reporting a traffic collision at White Oak Ave and Lassen Street.Though the caller stated a person was trapped, there is nothing in our log indicating a significant extrication effort was needed. LAFD Task Force 87 and Paramedic Rescue Ambulance 103 handled the incident. With the ambulance transporting from the location at 9:46 PM following a 17 minutes scene activity period. The patient(s?) were taken in the single ambulance to the most accessible receiving hospital. The collision apparently damaged a street light/traffic signal and utility pole, and the CIty's Department of Street Services, Department of Water and Power and the LAPD's Valley Traffic Division were to handle to conclusion. At this time, there is nothing in our preliminary records to indicate this collision to be atypical to the 96 we will handle on a typical day.If you desire additional information regarding the cause of the collision, we welcome you to contact the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division...by calling (818) 644-8000 and referring to LAPD Incident #4423 of that date.I hope this information helps.
