- I called yesterday to confirm a faxed order and they allowed me to place another order on the sale (which went off 7/24!) over the phone! I have since received the original order. The shoe is really nice. And at 39.90 - unbeatable for me!!!! (www.CinderellaofBoston.com)

I am just curious as to how people feel about Cinderella of Boston's
Customer Service. The last 2 encounters that I had with them it was less
than desirable. I bought a pair shoes that was on clearance and I know they
do not guarantee stock but when I called, someone told me it was shipped so
I waited a couple of weeks to call back. I was told that the shoe was not in
stock and that they had mail me a letter stating so (that's what shipped),
which I never got (this has happen once before already during last holiday
season). First of all they published the catalog online and do not state
that the shoes are not in stock. I found out that there was more than one
style that was not even the country yet. Isn't that like Wal-Mart
advertising something and it is not in stock? Isn't that false
advertisement? So now I ordered a pair of boots the Wicked, which are over
priced at $150 (I really hope the quality is as high as the price, unlike
their other shoes that I have brought from them in the past) I called and
found out that the boots had not shipped because they have not cleared
customs(Due to the Terrorist Attacks). Then they charged my credit card on
10-2-01 and here we are on 10-11-01 and still have not received my boots. I
understand the crisis going on around the world and they know that mail
services are slower than usual but yet they charged my credit card. Why
can't they at least wait a few days before charging my card? Especially when
it is going out via snail mail (3-5 business days) instead of the day that
they shipped. They have already put a reserve on credit card so there should
not be an issue of credit approval. If there were other shoe companies that
have the style that Cinderella has I would looking elsewhere. I wear a size
3 - 3 1/2 and there are not that many shoe companies that have the style
that Cinderella. Does anyone have any suggestions???? I am now in need of
wedding shoes for June and would like other options to look at.

were poor quality and high priced. They invited me to shop somewhere else.
I understand they have cornered the market- I am still trying to get my
buisness going so please be patient. It might take a while. Cinderella of
Boston doesn't own they're own shoe factory- they have a deal with an
already existing one.-Which is what I am trying to do but can't seem to find
one.
Anyway I don't want to encourage you to complain to them- BUT you are the
customer and YOU should dictate what you want and how much you want to pay
-NOT THEM
I have found a great U.K site that has beautiful high quality black leather
shoes and BOOTS- nice leather boots. They are located at
Shoe-shop.com . Look under the petite feet.....and leave some for me!!

As for shoes for your wedding shoes try dyeables.com, they have nice shoes.
you have plenty of time to shop around, but I would do it ASAP so you have
enough time to order and send them back if you don't like them!

making me a bit nervous. I think that many of us get very frustrated
periodically with life as a small shoe wearer, and we need somebody to be a
target for that frustration. Cinderella makes a good target because they raise
our expectations higher than anyone else by actually selling shoes that we can
wear, but then -- as with all catalog retailers -- their products and service
sometimes don't meet those expectations. From what I've seen, the company makes
a real effort to keep the lines of communication with its customers open and to
respond to our comments and concerns. The bottom line is, we need them, they
are serving a need that almost no one else is, and we as their customer base
should make an effort to form cooperative relationships with them. I think we
can demonstrate our loyalty and appreciation to the company while providing them
with constructive feedback, instead of making thinly veiled accusations that
they are exploiting us because we have nowhere else to turn.

of Boston store so I can't relate to the mail order service. They are
helpful in the store almost too much so. I feel like I am being
hovered over. I can say that the quality of some of the shoes isn't
always as high as the price. I try to wait until they have sales. The
inside of a pair of my sandal-heels that I have hardly worn is
peeling out out. The shoes are black so I don't know why the inside
is white. It doesn't look right. I've bought 3 pairs of the platform
sandals and they have held up great and I've worn them a lot. I hope

It's a pain over the mail, especially if you have to return them after you get them because they either don;t look right, or are in poor condition.

I ordered the end of the season pumps-they are really beautiful-a brown sling back with white stitching, the heel is 3 & 3/4" which is very hard to find in a 4, I love them so much I bought them in black too-they look GREAT with jeans! The company has integrity, not like many who really don't care about your order.

I haven't been on this site recently but I've had good luck with
Cinderella of Boston and I wanted to share the good reviews with you guys.
I've been buying with them the last couple of years and I recently
just purchased a pair of black patent pumps and black sandals from
their spring/.summer09 collections and they just came today. I love them!
I live in Ontario, Canada and coming from California yes it is a
little expensive but I believe well worth the price and it only took 4
days to get here.
I 100% recommend this company for all you guys who have small feet
like me!
