A useful reference, Ron. Slovakia and Hungary were separate entities then. Almost all of Slovakia and parts of western Hungary were the only Kingdom of Hungary that existed during that time. The book is about the Turkish province of Macaristan [madzhareestan], most of today's Hungary. Modern Slovakia and Hungary were in different countries then, Slovakia/the Kingdom was part of the Habsburg Empire, Hungary/Macaristan was Turkey. The Turkish incursions and domestic insurgencies in Slovakia were mild by comparison to what Turkey did in its Macaristan.
