      Pronounced [hrootka], it is spelled _hrudka_. The name comes from _hruda_, "a
      lump, clump." It's also called syrek [seerehk] or syrec [seerehts], both based
      on _syr_ [seer], "cheese."

      Here's a video showing a current Slovak recipe for velkonocna hrudka (Easter
      lump):

      Recipes vary by the region in eastern Slovakia. Hrudka is not that common
      elsewhere in the country.
