      I never got back to the group regarding the June halusky class "How to make
      'real' Halusky" in Youngwood, PA, near Greensburg. It was a great success.
      Excellent feedback from mostly Slovak-Americans who truly miss potato halusky
      like their babas made.

      The halusky was excellent. I used the feedback from members on this site to
      prepare the cabbage and onions (vel'mi pekne d'akujem Helen, Michelle, Jennie,
      Paul, Jerry and Vilo). We had 10 people on the waiting list, so Westmoreland
      County Community College asked me to do the class again. We had that one Tuesday
      evening. There were another 12 people on the waiting list, so there seems to be
      real interest in making halusky in this area. Interestingly, most of the 12
      people were not even of Slovak or Slavic ancestry.

      Lubos -- I have a feeling you will have an overflow crowd for your cooking
      session at the Nov. 7 festival at Pitt! I'll be there.

      For Slovak Heritage Ass'n of Laurel Highlands (SHALH) members in the Johnstown
      PA area, we are planning a halusky dinner in November.
