      Three suggestions for anyone:

      1) Install a firewall (free versions available):
      http://www.zonealarm.com/

      2) Install, update & run an anti-virus pgm (free versions available):
      http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html

      3) Install, update & run anti-spyware pgm (M$ makes one & Ad-Aware also):
       http://www.lavasoft.com/

      Again, free versions are available.

Jenn, these things have happened someone that each of us knows.  Don't feel bad.

      Chuck

The above w/ not eliminate the possibility of these things, but it w/ reduce the likelihood.  Good luck.

      Curt,

I did talk to both Verizon and Yahoo a couple of weeks ago... I will go back

this route again. Sorry to all.

      Jenna,

You may have to communicate with Yahoo, since the worm captured your yahoo mail

address and now sends messages to everyone in your e-mail address book, both

      individuals and groups.

Keep monitoring. I appreciate it and I'm pretty sure others do also.

If it is too late, using it regularly (new updates come out every Thursday) can prevent someone else from becoming a bot for the people who do this.

          Good luck to all.
