Many thanks for your good wishes.  We arrived safely and the only mishap was my oxiclean spilled in one suitcase.  Messy powder but all is clean.

We arrived last Thursday and on Friday my grand mothers niece,  Valera Polakova Madericova-Malchova, age 98. died.  It was really sad bnecause I did not get to say goodbye.  This was my first funeral" first Mass at 3PM this Tuesday, then to the funeral home for viewing, prayers and blessings then procession for a short distance to the cemetery.  The Polak familôy was invited to the house for dinner and I got to see relatives whom I have not seen in years.

all is now well except all of my relatives are working and I have no transportation.  I am happy that they all work.  They do not make anywhere near our wages and the goods in the market about equal ours in cost.  They take everything in stride with few complaints.  martin, I have received many compliments for my preservation of the old Zahorak dialect but i am not sure if I should receive them happily. :o(

      God love you all,

      Vilko
