There is an annual Czech-Slovak festival in Phillips, Wisconsin held on the
3rd weekend in June. There, they make about 12,000 of those tasty little
Kolaches. It's a nice festival complete with polka music and a Czech-Slovak
Queen pageant. For more information, go to http://czech-slovak.tripod.com/

Here's a fun article about a town in Nebraska that has a kolach
festival every June. I thought those who don't get American Profile
along with their newspaper would enjoy reading it:

      profile.com/article/22142.html

They also have a kolach recipe. Click on "recipes" and type in "kolach."
