Re: [Slovak-World] Re: Rusyns demand Rusyn FIGHT BACK
- Because the articles are not in English, I cannot read them. HOWEVER, when one of our group tells all of us how this Bishop is putting our people down-- THIS
makes me very, very angry!!! How dare he. Surely we can all do something. If anyone out there can create an e-mail in Slovak that we can all send him, or is boss, or the newspapers-something must be done! It is at times like this I wish I could speak the language and know where to send things over in Europe to get some attention! I am not that knowledgeable. However, we have a lot of brainy Rusyns out there who do something and perhaps we can all send something out.
PLEASE someone lead me and I will follow any RUSYN for the good of all of us! maxine

You provide two examples, but you assert that "No one is forcing the
faithful to use or pray in Slovak". Are you certain that this has
never happened, anywhere?
As my Greek Catholic Rusyn priest friends in Europe have asked
me, "Why is the Church acting so vehemently against Rusyns?" Frankly,
I didn't have an answer for them, and I too would love to know why.
Ponder, if you will, the sad stories on this website:
The ONLY time the current bishop of Presov, Babjak, has written to
address the concerns of Rusyns at all has been to denounce and rebut
Where is the pastoral concern in that? Does he have nothing more to
say to them than "this is all a lie"?
