- 17th Annual Polish Soup Fest
Minneapolis, MN -On Friday, October 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm the Polish
American Cultural Institute of Minnesota will be holding its 17th annual
Polish Soup Fest at the International Institute, 1694 Como Ave in St. Paul,
Seventeen years ago the Polish Institute sponsored the first Polish Soup
Fest as an acknowledgement of the role that food, especially soup, has
played in binding together the Polish family. For Poles, soup is a major
part of every meal and the varieties are almost endless; each season has its
own repertoire of soups. Soup is at the heart of Polish tradition and

the light and delicate Blueberry dessert soup to the hearty 'Bigos'', the
traditional Hunter's Stew.
Price is $10 for adults ad $5 for children. Ladies from Sacred
Heart Polish National Catholic Church will be selling pierogi and the Dolina
Polish Folk Dancers will be holding their Christmas bazaar with traditional
Polish crafts and art for sale.
