Film Showing – "The Fever: A Personal Awakening"

This thought-provoking drama is about the tenacious pursuit to
understand capitalism, to get at the root of what determines the
price of stuff and services, condemns some countries to poverty, and
brings about rebellion and the courage to confront our own fears and
prejudices. Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave portrays a woman who
undergoes an upheaval of consciousness in her struggle to grasp the
Marxist explanation of why there is an ever widening gap between
those who have and those who have not. Cameo appearances by Angelina
Jolie and Michael Moore. The film runs 83 minutes and will be
      followed by a lively discussion.

The video-showing will be held at the Bread & Roses Center, 819 N.
      Killingsworth St., Portland, Oregon USA

(on TriMet lines #4 and #72). Snacks will be provided for a
      donation.
