After the intense learning and networking experiences of Radical
Women's "Persistent Power of Socialist Feminism" conference, it's
time for a relaxing social. Come to a potluck supper to continue the
friendships and discussions you began at the conference. Bring a dish
and your favorite anecdote. We'll gather at New Valencia Hall (see

Young Women Organize to Stop Bigoted Ballot Measures!
Thursday, October 23, 7:00pm
Strategize ways to defeat several heinous initiatives that target
young people which are on the California ballot in November.
Proposition 6 would further criminalize youth; Proposition 4 would
force women under 18 to tell their parents before having an abortion;
and Proposition 8 would ban gay marriage. Add your thoughts on these
and other propositions. Come early for a delicious fall supper ($7.00

An opportunity to solidify the decisions and campaigns that came out
of the momentous October 3-6 assembly. Those who missed the gathering
will hear of the dynamic, international panels, speeches and
workshops by immigrants, women of color, unionists, queers, and
working womenyoung and old. People who attended can report on
workshops or favorite sessions. We'll discuss ideas for how Bay Area
activists can help strengthen the international, grassroots socialist
feminist movement in the midst of Wall Street's melt-down. Come early
for a hearty supper ($7.00 donation) served at 6:15pm at New Valencia
Hall (see address below).
