A Speak-Out Against Racist Attacks!
Add your voice to the outcry over the Jena Six and numerous noose
incidents in the NYC area.
In Louisiana, six African American students, who had protested three

charged with felonies. In October, a noose was hung on the door of a

lynching have appeared around New York City this Fall. What is giving
rise to this resurgence of overt racism, including on school
campuses? How are these assaults tied to recent anti-Semitic acts and
violence against gay youth? How does this bigotry particularly impact
Bring your outrage and ideas to this speak-out and discussion of how
feminists can help forge a revitalized civil rights movement to
effectively fight back.
A hearty Fall supper will be served at 7:00pm for a $7.00 donation.
Meeting admission free. Will be held at Freedom Hall (address below).
