End Sexual Violence in the Military!
Antiwar activists will talk about why misogyny and sexual violence are
so pervasive in the military, from training to the battlefield. Female
soldiers and Iraqi women alike face harassment, assault and even
murder. Atrocities continue to surface, from the Marines' brutal rape
and killing of 14-year old Iraqi Abeer Hamza to the suspicious death
of African American Pfc. LaVena Johnson. Bring your ideas to a
discussion of this violence, its causes, and what it will take to
An autumn supper will be served at 7:00pm for a $7.00 donation.
Meeting admission free. Will be held at Freedom Hall (address below).
