      Hi everyone,
There is a forum with women speakers speaking out against the war on
Terrorism. Every panelist has been affected by the war on terror.
This forum is being sponsored by Radical Women. If you are near
Portland Oregon, I encourage you to attend the panel and participate
      in the discussion.

Working Class Women vs. the War on Terrorism – A panel of activists
speak out on the impact of the Patriot Act and how to fight the
creeping police state. From the profiling of Muslims and immigrants
to the branding of environmentalists as ecoterrorists, these women
have felt the brunt of homeland insecurity.

Panelists: Mona Mayfield – Muslim mother who has fought FBI
surveillance and the arrest of her husband, Brandon, under false
premises; Kristen Bebell – activist for animal rights and against
unjust sentencing for environmentalists; Christine Haboush – Lebanese
American feminist; Jen Laverdure – former federal contractor fired
for non-compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive

      Saturday, January 27, 6:30pm
Bread and Roses Center, 819 N. Killingsworth St., Portland, Oregon,
      USA.
