RE: [Serpentius] Fwd: Southern Region War Camp, June 9
- I didn't reply cuz I am a vegetarian, so I don't want to limit anyone. I'll bring something if there's a potluck. Is there a going out to eat option? That way people could eat whatever.

Alright folks, this event doesn't offer food in the form of day board or feast, though they do have boys scout vendors onsite selling stuff.http://www.eastkingdom.org/EventDetails.html?eid=2181What I need is a head count of who would like to just do that or would people prefer a "meal plan".There are several options here for this.1. Potluck meals (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner Saturday only)2. meal plan sort to include oatmeal and fresh fruit for breakfast, sandwich fixings for lunch, and hamburgers and other picnic style foods for dinner (Saturday only)3. everyone fend for themselves and we all just hang out together for food times.Other suggestions are welcome. My problem in general with potluck is the amount of food always left over. If we opt for that, I would like to suggest people bring smaller portions than usual, or go in to groups for one large food donation.Obviously this is not my decision, but I would like it known that choice 1 is my least favorite.I would be willing to coordinate meals if we go with option 2 and can take cash at the event for your "share" of the cost (noting small children would cost less than adults, but older children would not).Anyway, please post additional thoughts or suggestions. This is one of the events the polls selected to try to get a large snake showing so if you are on the fence about going, get off the fence on the attend side! :-)Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in 5 short weeks!
