Registration is now open for PDXBOT.03, sponsored by the Portland Area
Robotics Society (PARTS) and the Portland State University student chapter of
the IEEE, the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). The fourth annual event
will be in the Smith Center Ballroom at the PSU campus on Sunday, May 25. The
event is free for both spectators and competitors. Parking will also be free
at the nearby PSU parking lots and on the street, as long as you don't park
in any of the RESEVED spots. There is also close access to bus transit and
      the Portland Trolley

You may register at the following site.

Sponsors have been very generous with donations this year, so we will be able
to award thousands of dollars worth of prizes and awards.
Last years' event tallied over 2000 spectators and competitors from all over
      the US and Canada.

Competitions at this year's event include robotic sumo in micro-, mini- and
Japan classes, beginner and advanced line following, a robot talent show, and
a new out-and-back walking robot course.  In addition to robotic
competitions, the exposition will include technology demonstrations, robotic
displays, sales of robotic kits, components and supplies by vendors, and a
      Kids' zone.

Additional information, including registration, rules for each of the robotic
competitions, pictures of last years' event, directions to the Smith Center,
Hotel and Motel information, and a list of Sponsors is available at the
      PDXBOT website:
