I only bring this up because they are NOT always nice to deal with and can be down right rude when they seem to think their LOGO has been abused. In the past they have accused us of using the wrong logo. I had Email that proved other wise. We changed it immediately and the rest of any Email we exchanged after that was rather terse. Also in the past we've received our event approval put up the logos , got approval for that then 4 months later just prior to the event they change their logo ( didn't bother to notify us that they have changed it) and then send us threatening Emails for being non compliant. The folks that run the events Ellen, Alex and Julia are great! Very professional and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Even Richard despite our rough start was very accommodating by the time he retired. The upper management isn't always as professional. Just saying beware the logo.

Subject: RE: [SeattleRobotics] Re: T-Shirt DesignI'm not saying you can't or shouldn't use the logo by any means. They are a big part of this event. I am very well versed in the SC requirements probably having done as many WAR events there as the SRS has if not more. The requirement is the use of the logo in advertising and promotion or any thing that has their logo on it.

Seattle Center requires us to use their logo on anything connected to an event in their facility. If you will notice the logo appears on our Yahoo Robothon page and on our facebook.com/Robothon page. We have to use it in any advertising we do. We get the use of Seattle Center at a very small price and they have always gone the extra mile to help us with the event so complying with their wishes is a small price to pay.
