The History Channel is announcing that "The Return of LST-325" will
be shown at 7PM EST (0000Z) on Veteran's Day Sunday 11 November 2001.
Amateur operators may recall that the saga of the old WWII vessel
started in July 2000 in Greece when a number of elderly Navy veterans
rebuilt the ship and sailed it to Mobile, Alabama, arriving in
January 2001 amid considerable public enthusiasm and a little
controversy. Amateur radio station WW2LST, operating from LST-325
kept the world posted on the ship's progress as it crossed the
      Mediterranean and Atlantic Oceans.

Details may be found at : http://www.lstmemorial.org/ .
