Re: [ScopingBuddies] Need some reminders on CC v.11
- Hi Cheryl! You went MIA there for a looooong time! :) Nice to see you back. How about I e-mail you directly to help you along since it may require several e-mails to get it all accomplished?? That way we won't clutter up the forum and everyone's mailboxes. :)Hope everyone else on the forum is doing well! Happy spring is right. We had a beautiful day here in PA today. I'm hoping it stays!!!!Alicia Contic

Greetings to everyone, and especially to you, Alicia!
I've been away from scoping for about 8 months while pursuing something a little different for a season. Now, I've returned to scoping, a new laptop that doesn't cooperate and a new version of CC. I was using v.10 when I stopped last year. New laptop, meant new operating system, so yes, had to get the new v.11.
Anyway, I'm all ready very busy with a super reporter, but I can't remember how to do a couple things (for the life of me). So if you could help me to remember -- that would be great.
The areas I need assistance in are:
1) Taking about a dozen zipped files that are the CR's includes (parantheticals) and moving them into CC. Do they need their own folder? I seem to remember prior CR having separate folder for includes. But, I can't seem to get these files to move over properly.
2) Once the includes are in place, what are the key strokes to call up the viewer to choose the file you want to insert and how to insert it into the transcript?
3) How to get a period and a comma to stay in place. An example would be if you had an address such as 4 Basin Ave., Lost City, NH. See the period/comma after Ave? I know there was an override-type command. I can't find it on the command list (maybe not looking or recognizing the wording) and my fingers do not seem to remember.
Sorry for rambling on. Really could use a couple little reminders or even where to look for this info.
Thanking you in advance for any assistance you can offer!
Happy Spring everyone!
