Lakewood Park, Saskatoon
- When I went to the park on the 7th I saw an Orange-crowned Warbler.
Today I saw a female Ruddy Duck with three very young ducklings.
Other than that there were the usuals:
2 Mallard hens each with 8 older ducklings.
1 Gadwall hen with 7 older ducklings
Blue-winged Teal hen
heard at least 3 Soras
a Merlin swooped by chasing a bird which somehow escaped unharmed.

Also at the inlet pond I spotted this bird working its way along the
edge of the reeds but it was moving away from me and I only got a
distant look at it. I've labelled it a Vesper Sparrow but maybe it's a
Savannah or something else entirely.
Can someone ID this for me please?
