Varied Thrush in Saskatoon ...
- Yesterday , my Wife and I got a phonecall from Carol B , telling us
that not one, but two , Varied Thrush were present at a backyard on
the 1500th Block of Park Avenue here in the City.
We were already fairly close , as we were checking out 2 Pine Grosbeak
at the very tip of some Spruce Trees in President Murray Park .
They were already a great sighting for the day amd our first for the
Once at the location we managed to see the Female Thrush and I got a
couple of photos . Unfortunately the Bird stayed in the shade , but
still , it was a wonderful lifer for the both of us . Finally ! :-)

tailed Duck , Loon and Harley at the River .
