After not going out for the last week, I finally got a chance to walk through AE Wilson Park this morning. Finally it seems that birds are starting to move. While I have had three Juncos in the area all winter the numbers were much higher today, around 15. A few Crows and Cdn Geese are present and a flock of very vocal Redpolls arrived. Still looking at my list from last year we are still about 10 days behind.

The complete list of my walk was:

      2 Canada Goose
      5 Sharp-tailed Grouse
      4 Grey Partridge
      2 Crow
      2 Rock Dove
      2 Downy Woodpecker
      1 Hairy Woodpecker
      4 RB Nuthatch
      1 Robin
      15 DE Junco
      15 Common Redpoll
      12 WW Crossbill
      1 House Finch
      80 House Sparrow
