All of Iraq has become a war zone, and Iraqi civilians are being advised to stay in their homes if they want to stay alive. The warning came Tuesday amid signs that invading forces are becoming frustrated with guerrilla attacks in areas thought conquered."

The U.S. has blatantly intended to harm civilians with death if they do not stay at home in Iraq. Over the last week, hundreds of innocents, and civilians, have been killed by less than accurate missile attacks. Missiles have buses of civilians in Syria, and so forth.

Sartre has argued that the U.S. is a nation which carries out genocide on a mass scale. His "On Genocide" cites the 1948 Geneva Convention, which "defines genocide on the basis of intent."

The U.S. has made an open declaration to any resident living in Iraq to 'stay in their homes if they want to stay alive.' This is a death threat made to anyone who is not inside their homes (despite the fact that many have been killed while staying in their homes).

The U.S. intends to 'massacre' a entire national population if they do not 'stay indoors'. This is a terrifying threat which has proven itself to be no threat but a fact especially in Baghdad.

The 1948 Convention bans genocidal acts like these

"Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group."

The U.S. has warned Iraqi's to 'stay out of the way', 'stay at home', 'don't go out and drive around'.

      Sartre:

"The genocidal intent is implicit in the facts. It is necessarily pre-meditated.""The truth is apparent *on the battlefield in the racism of the American soldiers."

"One proof of this [genocidal intent] is that the United States government refused to ratify the Genocide Convention....that the Convention would conflict with the laws of several states; in other words, the current policymakers enjoy a free hand...."

"Young American men use torture (even including the 'field telephone treatment' *), they shoot unarmed women for nothing more than target practice, they kick wounded...in the genitals, they cut off ears of dead men and take them home for trophies. Officers are worst: a general boasted of hunting...from his helicopter and gunning down them...."

"This crime, carried out every day before the eyes of the world, renders all who do not denounce it accomplices of those who commit it, so that we are being degraded today for our future enslavement."

      [Sartre, On Genocide]

(The portable generator for a field telephone is used as an instrument for interrogation by hitching the two lead wires to the victims genitals and turning the handle. Ed. Note)
