So sorry to hear this.  Please hold Jodie in your hearts this week.  peace, Deidra

    ---------- Forwarded message ----------
    Dear CODEPINK coordinators,

Early this morning Jodie Evan's husband died peacefully in his sleep of heart failure.  Max Palevsky was a wonderfully sweet and brilliant man whose support for CODEPINK and for Jodie's bold leadership has nourished and profoundly helped create the peace movement and whose philanthropy and innovative leadership shaped the actions of many organizations and political discourse.

We are so saddened by this news. Our hearts are with Jodie, our arms extended across the miles, our tears flowing with her as she says goodbye to the love of her life.

You can send your condolences and loving support to Jodie Evans, 2010 Linden Avenue, Venice, CA 90291.  heartofj@...

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the ACLU (which Max once directed), LACMA or the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles.

There's so much that can be shared about the huge heart and lasting vision for a better world that Max held.  I want to share this news with you right away so I will keep this brief.

    Peace all,
