      Oh but those of us that have worked in the power industry will be familiar with Buss Fuses.  Maybe this is like Kleenex vs. Facial tissue, the general population has taken a brand name and broadly applied it to other parts of electrical circuits. But in the days of being efficient and economical it feels good to have that extra 's' back.

      And they are right. I spell bus wrong, as buss, constantly just like I do teh instead of the.. Don't know why my fat fingers type it that way. Sometimes I spell it right and others times I don't...

      Curiously, it seems ABYC agrees with you, as they refer to a "Bus" in E-11! You are either both wrong, or, more likely , both right.
