      Yellow-crowned Night-heron
      Whte Ibis (lots)
      Glossy Ibis
      Red-Shouldered Hawk
      Purple Gallinule
      Common Moorhen
      Sandhill Crane
      Wilson's Snipe (12)
      Killdeer
      Lesser Yellowlegs
      Belted Kingfisher
      Red-bellied Woodpecker
      Northern Flickers
      Downy Woodpecker
      Eastern Phoebe
      Loggerhead Shrike
      Blue-headed Vireo
      Tree Swallow
      House Wrens
      Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher

      Prairie Pines is a preserve with diverse habitat, and I was in a marsh
      and wet prairie. This meant some amount of slogging, but it is going
      down pretty fast. I was there 2 weeks ago and couldn't get into some
      areas that were quite accessible today.
