      Not much left near the coast but 2 fields abound with birds. The 30+ acres at San Carlos Blvd and Kelly Rd. has been mowed as it reveals scores of Glossy Ibis, White Ibis, L.Yellowlegs, mottled ducks and more. The good field is along Plantation Rd. between South Ft. Myers High School and Robb and Stucky building. Sun.7/30 produced
      3 Stlit Sandpiper
      20+ Pectoral
      5+ Solitary
      8 S-b Dowitcher
      10+ Killdeer
      4 Black-n. Stilt
      4 Greater Yellowlegs
      dozens of Lesser Yellowlegs
      both ibis, mottled, assorted herons,anhingas, kingfisher, cooper's red-tailed, red-shouldered hawks .....
      whew!! awesome action in the hazy, hot and humid mid morning.
