      Hi,

Just a reminder that if you just need to admin the servers. There
would be UI tools that would manage the Server for you.

      MySQL admin (http://www.mysql.com/products/tools/administrator/)is a
desktop tool to manage the servers, where as there is a web based PHP
      tool PHPMyAdmin(http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php)

There is also freeware tool called SQLYog
      (http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/download_sqlyogfree.html)

Depends on the profile of the job that you have, the kind of tasks
that it entails. Regular tasks can be delegated to the tools.

The difference is the syntax of MySQL and T-SQL will not be daunting,
since you would know T-SQL quite well.

      Regards,
      Rahul
