RE: [SQLQueriesNoCode] Unique Value help
hi Try using group by the particular column followed by HAVING COUNT(COLUMN_NAME) > 1 bye -----Original Message----- From: Cyberdemon12 [mailto:cyberdemon12@...] Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 12:09 PM To: SQLQueriesNoCode@yahoogroups.com Subject: [SQLQueriesNoCode] Unique Value help I'm in a Database Class, and I'm trying to write queries for a midterm, its too late now to get it right on the test, but I'd really like to know how to write this select query. the question (the only one I couldn;t figure out how to do) involves finding every value that occurs more than once in a column and I can't figure out how to do it. I know I can use the distinct command to get one of each value, but I can't seem to figure out how to only get the values that occur more than once (or even NOT the values that only occur once). If anyone has any ideas please reply. Thanks, -J Yahoo!
