Yogabhavan in NYC
- Archbiship H. E. Mor Titus Yeldho Pathickal inaugurated a Yogabhavan in NYC on June 2, 2004. Sri Swami Bua Maharaj, 116 years old and famous for his vast spiritual knowledge and wisdom gave the inaugural speech and blew the conch shell for over five minutes without stopping. This shows that the time-tested traditions of religious harmony and peaceful co-existence promoted by the Syrian Orthodox Church worldwide is also enjoyed by the faithful in US. Harmony between seemingly divergent religious groups like Hindus, Muslims and Christians was the norm in Kerala.
