God promised to Israelites Your dews (abundant
blessings) will be like dews in the morning. It
cools the scorching heat of mens passions. It
moistens the heart and makes it tender and fit
to receive the seed of word. Gods blessing is
life ever more. That is blessing of all blessings.

Lord said to Moses Tell Aaron and his sons, This
is how you are to bless the Israelites, say to
them The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord
make his face shine upon you and be gracious to
you. The Lord turns his face towards you and give
peace. So they will put my name on the Israelites
and I will bless them (Numbers 6:22-27)

A blessing was one way of asking for Gods divine
favor to rest upon others. Blessings five parts
conveyed hope that God would (1) bless and keep
them (favor and protect) (2) make his face shine
upon them (be pleased) (3) gracious (merciful and
compassionate) (4) turn His face toward them (give
His approval) and (5) give peace. When we ask God
to bless us and others, we are asking God to do
      these five things.

In Ephesians 3: 15,16, God promises his power,
love and blessing to the family of God, the church.
In 3: Eph: 3:16-21 Bible says if we want blessing,
it is important we stay in contact with other
believers in the church. Those who isolate themselves
from church and try to go it alone, cut themselves
off from Gods power and blessing.

We wish you a happy New Year 2004
