      In Eastern Orthodox churches, they have the concept of
      Schema Monk. A monk is given schema when he has reached
      a state to practise highest and strictest monastic
      discipline. They are given a special head-cover.
      Interestingly this head cover is very similar to that
      Oriental Orthodox Bishops and Monks. Check here at the
