Re: Do we fear the evil spirits
- Dear All,
A True Christian do not afraid of any evil spirit
or stars, or angels or principalities as Christ
has disarmed all of them by His death and
resurrection. To quote St. paul "He disarmed the
principalities and powers and made a public
example of them, trumphing over them in him.
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in
questions of food or a new moon or a sabbaths.
These are only shadow of what is to come; but
the substance belongs to Christ" (Col.2:15-17).
It is lack of a deep faith in God that trusts
in the forces of nature to control the destiny
of the Child of God!
Let us not fear the verdict of a court of law of
this world, however mighty it is. We are the true
Christians. Nothing happens to us without the
knowledge of our Saviour and all things work
together for good to them that love the Lord,
those called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28).
Lack of faith leads to doubts and fear.
Let us look to Saul, the mighty king of Israel,
whom God has chosen to rule over His people. Once
the Spirit of God departed from Saul that the evil
spirit came upon Saul (1 Sam. 16:14). The same is
the case with the IOC and its Holiness at Kottayam
and its so called Synod of Crooked Fellows. Without
having proper guidance of the Spirit of God, how
pathetic was Saul's end. It is a best example for
the IOC leadership also. They do not know that the
Holy Spirit departed from them, and now they are
lead by the evil spirit. And hence they do not know
what to do, how to do, when to do,where to do, whom
to do and such and such guidace they lost, once they
departed from the realms of the Holy Church. Why is
it so? They are just floating in the air like a kite
with little string left out, nobody to control through
string and its attachment. They lost that connection
with the real owner of the kite. Like that kite,
sometime it will fly towards north, later sometime
it will fly toward south, east and west. No one can
predict which direction that kite will fly, whether
north, south, east or west.
Once the laity of the syrian orthodox church withdrew
its oxios (he is worthy)from the ordination service to
the IOC, the IOC lost its orthodox ethos. Its name
(Orthodox Syrian) itself suggests the reversal from
the reality. I do not wonder in what they are doing.
They can only do they way they do.
Love to all my SOCM Brothers,
